Hello! Well, I'd love to say the personal drama in my life is over, but then it wouldn't be my life. One kid's in college, one's in high school, and the oldest is working but still living at home - and my youngest is taking driver's training. Then there are the dogs, the house, the job, the rewrites, and of course new characters to torture. Need I say more? I'm looking forward to fall and winter, just so I won't feel guilty about locking myself inside until I feel like just another peripheral device to my computer. Ace Is Wild came out not too long ago, and I'm so glad Daniel and Vivi (and Maxine) got a great reception. Huge thanks to everyone (yes, everyone) who took the time to post a review online or send me a note. I love to hear what you guys think! Those of you who've had a chance to read Ace will remember Harmony Swift, the FBI computer expert who gave Daniel a hand finding Vivi after she was snatched by the villain. Harmony's story, Packing Heat, is hitting the bookstore shelves in April of next year, and I have to say it's one of my favorites so far. Then again, I say that about all of them while they're in progress, so my opinion probably can't be trusted. If you want to see the cover and a short blurb, check out the new releases. I'm also excited to report that I have a story in the December anthology Double the Pleasure – entitled Double the Danger. Another cranky FBI agent runs into another headstrong heroine, and these two have some serious history, so the sparks fly right off the bat. Of course there's a hit man, a car chase, and bullets are flying, not to mention a small town filled with eccentric characters, and a happy ending. And to top it all off I had to cram it into the space roughly one quarter the size of a regular book, so it's a wild ride even if I do say so myself. I hope you have a chance to pick up Packing Heat and Double the Pleasure. And I hope you like them!!
